Wine review from "Vert de Vin" Summer Edition

BOUZERON
Domaine deVillaine 2015
Bouzeron

Score : 16.25+

The nose is fruity, mineral and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of lemon and slight notes of minerality/ int associated with hints of le- mon zests, Tangerine, touches of exotic fruits, quenette as well as a subtle hint of spices and leather. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight acid frame, a beautiful juiciness, gourmandise, a slight freshness, a racy minerality, straightness, tension, a beautiful roundness, fat as wel as a beautiful unctuosity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, orange and slight notes of yellow fruits, compoted mirabelle asso- ciated with slight hints of dried grape (in the background), a discreet hint of green lemon zests, apple as well as very slight toasted notes, vanilla and an imperceptible hint of butter. Good length and nice aromatic persistence.
